Le jardinier écolo pense ‘vert’ et pour cela il dépensera le moins possible d’effort en trouvant la niche idéale pour ses plantes.

Regardons ce qui pousse en sol pauvre, rocheux ou graveleux. On compose un jardin dans les situations suivantes en créant un ou plusieurs des coins de jardin:

– L’espace le plus rudimentaire est la craque de pavé, de trottoir, d’asphalte, d’entrée et autres espaces faits de briques ou de pierre artificielle. – Toute crevasse
est l’occasion idéale pour une graine de germer. Avant que ce soit une mauvaise herbe qui s’installe, laissez une vivace occuper cet espace. en construction

– Pour toute plante qui est saxatile, celle qui pousse parmi la roche,

le ‘Casse-roche’

la solution est facile.

À l’état naturel,

au 52ième parallèle

on retrouve ces plantes:

– Sur la roche toujours humide, du moins pendant la saison printanière, on voit souvent notre saxifrage de Virginie.

– Près d’un lac, d’une rivière, d’un rivage rocheux ou d’un ruisseau permanent,

la berge est souvent faite de gravier ou de sol graveleux

sable très grossier : gravier

– Le talus végétalisé

rappelle une descente de colline, et même

la plupart de ces vivaces sont souvent utiles pour le toît végétal.
